NEVILLE BROWN'S INHAM VALLEY RAILWAY
2010 OPEN DAY 27th JUNE 2010

Terry Pearce brought a bit of an enigma - a B&F train (including the centre coach which was designed but never built) hauled by the WHR's "Russell"!

Andrew Latham's Accucraft with a couple of coaches.

Paul Lolley steams up in the lower sidings area (not far from the water tower). The tunnels in the backgound only serve to protect the line from the steaming area to the main line from plants and lift away easily should the need arise (and it did!).

Our host brought out his (high speed) Gandy Dancer - stand WELL clear!!

Andrew Latham's Diesel was a steady performer.

Martin Smith brought a new Roundhouse "Jack" and a rake of Accucraft 4 wheelers.

Bob Newton (allegedly) driving his meths-fired lady Anne, which STILL wouldn't stop, despite being fitted with a 2.4 gig setup!

Our host even ran a steam passenger service!

.

The MDLR's contribution was its PW train.

Our host also got out his tram loco to haul The Wheldon Wagon...............

......... and ended the day with a Baguley-hauled passenger service.

As it was the hottest day of the year, there were a number of pairs of shorts in evidence, from the short-short..........

......... to the not-quite-so-short............

........... to the knee length...........

....... to the hardly-a-short-at-all!

Some people wore socks with sandals, whilst others sported natty little white socks.
