THE ACTON FAMILY'S BLOOMFIELD LIGHT RAILWAY
2005 OPEN DAY

THE BLOOMFIELD LIGHT RAILWAY OPEN DAY 2005

Andrew Latham ran his Millie..........

........... under a bridge where the sheep were holding up traffic!

Martin's VoR 2-6-2 was in fine fettle..................

............. with a couple of coaches in BR(WR) livery................

......... which were also hauled by his BR-liveried Baguley-Drewery - a "might-have-been", maybe?

The MDLR's Havelock Vetinari on the tubular bowstring bridge..........

......... in front of which was a railwayman re-creating a scene from "Thomas".

This Accucraft has had the full makover (new cylinders and burner) and is now a "good loco" according to its owner.

A lineside photographer adopting the foetal position..............

The cows weren't bothered at all!

Another photographer getting "close up & personal" with Mick Mobley's Express Garratt (Well, it was going rather fast........)

However, with a better field of view...............

....... it was possible to get a rather better picture.

A nicely turned out Lady Anne is becoming more of a rarity.

I am told that the large number of sailors on the line...........

..... have all come from Whitby.....................

......... some with their boats.......................

......... to help the Welsh tourist trade.

This lot are still waiting for Ivor the Engine!
