THE APPLETON LIGHT RAILWAY

He's got a lovely layout sign................

................. but you can safely ignore this one - it's in the house!

We'll start our tour from one of the steamup bays....................

........... which joins the main line to run along the front of the layout - clockwise running is the rule on Open Days.

The same area seen from inside the layout - the station is only a temporary job until platforms are built beside the loop

The line then starts to climb................

................... the steaming sidings alongside the line are level.

................ before descending under itself and getting back to where we started.
Eventually, the village will be going in this bed, but for this year, gladioli will have to do!
