LLANFAIR GARDEN RAILWAY SHOW & WLLR GALA 2008

We set out from Raven Square rather later than anticipated........

............ and crossed the train with the two replica coaches - the nearest I was to get to them all day!

Chattendon was shunting stock at LLanfair........

......... whilst in the workshop was the Lentil Soup Works Railway.........

........ a G scale layout with track power and DCC control............

...... and a lentil conveyor that worked!

The lentil miners hard at it...........

The trains took the lentils to a Works, via a motorised sector plate, where they were automatically tipped down a chute into the Works, so there was always something going on.

These little gems by Tony Bird caught my eye................

......... as did the new Regner Victoria tram engine.

"...... and that's ANOTHER fine mess you've got us into!"

Tony eventually "launched" his two toddy locos.........

........... which went like (geared) bats out of Hell!
